Digger James and the Amulet of Set

It wasn't until the late evening of the next day that Digger finally found the camp site outside the tomb. Leaving the horse safely hidden he crept forward to find out what was going on. The first thing he noticed were two soldiers clearly guarding the camp. And all the tents of the native Egyptian diggers were gone and the tomb entrance was in darkness. A large round tent dominated the camp, if Stephen was anywhere he would be there.

Silently he worked his way around the area until he was up on the rock overlooking the tomb. One soldier was standing there, staring across the camp. He recognised the uniform, German army! Things were worse than he had imagined. If he was going to free Stephen he would have to even the odds first.
