Digger James and the Amulet of Set

After a nod from von Braun one of the soldiers broke through a false wall in the second chamber. The light glinted off gold but the mysterious  third chamber contained only a painted chair, two brass torchieres and a gold painted box in a recess in the centre of the room.

It was the wall paintings that caught Stephens attention. Familiar stories of the gods, but with the desert god Set as hero and the good god Horus as villain!

But all von Braun was interested in was the box. With no regard for the archaeological niceties he knelt down in the depression and flung open the lid. "Yes", he breathed. "The Fuhrer will be very pleased". He pulled out two metal bracelets and held them up triumphantly.

Von Braun quickly pulled himself togther. "Take pictures of all the walls" he barked at the soldiers. "Everything!". He then turned to Stephen. "After all, you will need something to read on the journey back to the Fatherland!".

Stephen gulped. "You mean you're taking me to Germany?". Von Braun just smiled and looked back at his treasure.
