Well, I've often heard it said that Patience is a Virtue! Which strikes me as pretty obvious, as patience is something I have in spades. I've also heard it said that revenge is a dish best served cold, and.... you get the picture.

So when Trooper 69 turned up as I was shutting up one night, all alone and barking into his radio about not being disturbed as he wanted 'some goddam down time', then ordering a mega-jumbo-beefy-burger-meal and a cold beer "right now!", I figured tonight was as good a time as any. The last of the burger-flippers had gone off to to some college party over an hour ago and I was all alone with this big doofus.

I gave him his burger and beer without getting even a glance, let alone a word of thanks.
