Digger James and the Amulet of Set

A succession of dancing boys took to the stage, but Stephen ignored them all. Which proved to Digger just how excited his friend and rival must be about the new dig.

"It's the tomb of Sebekhmet, Grand Vizier of Pharaoh Amenophis II, but it's much further into the desert than normal. The first chamber is pretty standard, all robbed out, full of junk and decorated with lots of  hieroglyphs, just standard stuff - what a great man he was, what a great time he will have in the afterlife, the usual. It is the second, inner chamber that is interesting. That's full of debris too but the hieroglyphs are more subtle. I suspect that he was a secret disciple of the evil god Set, Lord of Chaos and the Desert and there is even a hint of a third, hidden chamber, possibly untouched. I left my backer, Ulf von Braun, clearing out the place with some native diggers. We'll begin searching for the door to the third chamber when I get back - but I couldn't miss the chance to see you when I heard you were in Cairo" Stephen gushed.

"Couldn't miss the chance to gloat over your fabulous new find you mean" laughed Digger. "And when did you find the time to grow all that hair....."
