Digger James and the Amulet of Set

Egypt! Over the years many have sought to uncover its strange and fabulous treasures. In the years following the amazing discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb more and more respectable, and not-so-respectable, archaeologists were hunting out hidden tombs and lost chambers further and further into the harsh, unyielding desert. And in their wake came the hangers-on, charlatans, back street dealers, unscrupulous thieves and ... worse.

It is the nineteen thirties and yet one more archaeologist has arrived in the valley of the Nile, Dr. Duncan 'Digger' James. And he was even now searching through the back streets of Cairo in the evening twilight, looking for an old friend.
