Upon the return of the evil villains Kai began to feel the table he was attached to rotate and tip. At the same time Jade was begin removed from his chair. The villain leaned in and reminded the hero of the advice he had given him earlier concerning Kai. "Remember you fight us and get free, we still have Kai, and you know what will happen to him."

Jade looked into the eyes of the criminal and knew he meant it. Maybe he could get away, but he would be dammed if he was going to leave his best friend to be a lab rat to these sick bastards. He would do whatever it took to keep them alive until there was a chance for both of them to escape.
