Kai grabs onto the door with his cyber arms giving it a jerk, but nothing happens, it doesn't move even an inch. He tries again but nothing. Jade pushes him to the side doing the same thing and getting the same results. The cage will not budge; to their combined shock their powers are gone, somehow taken away, but yet they are still in uniform and are in superhero form

It became very clear they would not be going anywhere until someone came with a key and let them out. The concern is who would that someone be and what did they want with the heroes.
