The first round of torture doesn't make him speak or even acknowledge his new position of a prisoner. He doesn't utter a word, but when his strength leaves him after dozens of lashes he just passes out. The soldiers unbind him and leave him to lie on the blood covered floor of his cell. As this brute of a man comes to his senses the soldiers are getting ready for the second act of the drama. Will our hero pass this second test?
