Tarzan: The Ultimate Prize

Enraged, Tarzan rushes toward Sayo. Before he can fire another tranquilizer dart to bring down Tarzan, the ape-man is upon the spoiled hunter. The gun flies from Sayo’s grasp as he hits the ground with a thud, knocking the wind out of him.

Tarzan begins to choke Sayo. Fearing for his life, Sayo is barely able to get out the words, “He’s not dead, only knocked out.” This knowledge lessens Tarzan’s anger; his desire to kill Sayo diminishes. He releases his grip on Sayo’s neck.

Gasping for breath, Sayo is brought to his feet by Tarzan. Suddenly, Tarzan turns Sayo around so that his back is against Tarzan’s chest. Tarzan brings a white cloth up and covers Sayo’s face.

“I think you know this smell, Sayo,” says Tarzan. “I think it’s time for you to take a nap.”

It does not take long for the chloroform to take effect. Sayo’s eyes close, and he becomes limp in Tarzan’s mighty grasp. Tarzan drops Sayo unceremoniously to the ground.
