Satisfied that Trent is no longer a threat, John rushes to Tarzan’s side. “What have they done to you, Tarzan? I’ll have you out in a minute.”

“Finish Trent first, John,” replies Tarzan. “That needle has something in it to put people to sleep.”

John grabs the syringe and plunges it into Trent’s arm. Within moments, the officer is totally unconscious.

John proceeds to untie Tarzan’s wrists and ankles. He helps Tarzan to his feet. The two men embrace.

“We followed Trent here. Commissioner James and his men have surrounded the camp,” John informs Tarzan. “Let’s get you out of here to safety.”

“Not yet, John. I must defeat Sayo myself.” John nods in understanding.

As the two men are about to leave the hut, Tarzan sees something of interest on the table.
